Gallo-Roman style bridge located in Rocheservière, with one of its arches in Gothic style.
The small bridge of Péplu, of Gallo-Roman style spanning the Boulogne, one of its arches is of Gothic style, attests to its ancient origin. On 19 and 20 June 1815 - the day after the defeat at Waterloo - the last battle of the Vendée wars took place on this "little bridge". It was Napoleon's return in March 1815 that led the West of France, and particularly the Vendée, to rise up in favour of the maintenance of royalty embodied by Louis XVIII: Rocheservière played an important historical role in this event.
