Castle with a chapel and guest rooms, one with the parents' and children's rooms
The castle can be seen from the roadside. In a park of 4 hectares, surrounded by ponds, sits this superb 15th century castle which, twice in 1622 and 1794, fell prey to fire. However, it still has its chapel. It was in 1977 that Henri-Alain and Colette Couon acquired this vast residence, and were the first to open it to the public. One of the rooms is a real apartment with the children's room and the parents' room. A little anecdote: the Duchess of Berry slept there during her trip to the Vendée.
