Museum in a former teacher's house of the XIXth century, allows to discover 1 600 objects distributed on 6 exhibition rooms

Don't expect a big museum, but it is the^first and only one in France dedicated to the evolution of kitchen utensils. In a former teacher's house from the 19th century, discover 1,600 objects spread over 6 exhibition rooms. The fireplaces are rekindled, the scents escape from the earthen pots, the water shivers in the coquemar... From 1850 to 1960, a century of cooking! Temporary exhibition. Educational games for 7-12 years, sale of old recipes and regional products.

Opening time and information on COOKWARE MUSEUM

In 2022, by appointment. Low season: open on Sundays from 3pm to 6:30pm. High season: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 3 to 6:30 pm. All year round by appointment, except December, January and February. Adult : 4 €. Children (from 7 to 15 years old) : 2 €. Students : 3 €.

Friendly visit in this museum with old-fashioned charm; pleasant welcome. Excellent idea to gather old amenities cuisine in a large building in the heart of the village. There I would have loved to find postcards souvenir a little more. Bravo with voluntary, continue a long time to live this place for the delight of collectors!
