Radio du Nord-Ouest Vendéen was created on the initiative of the cantons of Challans, Beauvoir, and Saint-Jean-de-Monts. It was born in 2003 and broadcast its first programs in 2004. It broadcasts to the northwest of the département, reaching as far as Saint-Gilles, Aizenay, and even Noirmoutier. It's a local radio station, providing information on the local cultural, sporting, economic, and associative life of this small part of Vendée, and broadcasting a varied musical program featuring French and international variety. Frequency: 93.1 FM.
