In the heart of a protected natural site, the bourrine, traditional habitat of the Breton-Vendéen marsh, built in 1818, was inhabited by Armandine Gandemer until 1967. Authentic farm consisting of the bourrine still furnished, and annex buildings. You will learn all about the construction in earth, the cultivation of vegetables, its traditions and know-how. Each year, the visit is enriched by a new exhibition. In July and August, at 4:30 pm, the bourrine comes alive with ancestral gestures: crafts, gastronomy, vegetable garden, earth and reed architecture...
