Restaurant where the chef Ambroise concocts a market cuisine with well worked products.

In the family I ask for Ernest, the grandfather who inspired the name of this restaurant whose main theme is "family spirit". As chefs of the family, Ambroise and Philippe. Ambroise concocts a market cuisine with well worked products. Mix of tradition with a good zest of fun. Vintage decoration, theme evenings in winter. The concept is nice. On the menu, suggestions on the slate: Grandpa Jules' welsh, as a starter, then Ernest's margate (cuttlefish) stew and Grandma Renee's chocolate dessert. The other plus: the indoor patio!

L'un des rares "vrais" restaurants de Saint-Jean-de-Monts où l'on mange autre chose que des burgers, pizzas, pâtes, moules et consorts que l'on trouve dans 99% des restaurants de la ville. Ici, de la très bonne cuisine gastronomique servie par une équipe vraiment aux petits soins !

Un restaurant à découvrir absolument. Accueil sympa et conseils avisés dans un joli cadre. La cuisine réalisée à partir de produits locaux est originale inventive et excellente .Les plats, souvent renouvelés ,dépendent des produits disponibles sur le marché .Très bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vivement.
