L'EGLISE
Built in 1845, one of the last neo-classical buildings in Saint-Vincent-Sterlanges
The church of Saint-Vincent-Sterlanges was built in 1409 and burned down by the infernal columns in 1794. A new building was constructed in 1845. This one is one of the last in neo-classical style. The organ case (17th century) is said to be the most interesting in the Vendée. Inside are hidden treasures... Grouped together in a permanent exhibition of sacred art, twelve objects registered as historical monuments, dating from the 14th century to the beginning of the 19th century, are visible and protected, including: chalice, paten, chasuble and ciborium.
