Le Relais Talmondais is a fine little eatery whose façade faces the château. First pleasant surprise: inside, on the other side of the bar-PMU area, is a pretty dining room. The second pleasant surprise is the quality of the cuisine, fine and meticulous, the plates well presented, and the value for money. The dishes in this home-style kitchen change daily. On the day we visited, for example, the fish of the day, salmon and leek lasagne with winter vegetables, followed by a tiramisu with red fruits.

L'extérieur ne paye pas de mine mais l'intérieur, côté restaurant est plaisant et fonctionnel. Ce qui surprend : on ne s'attend pas à cette qualité en poussant la porte de ce restaurant bar PMU de village !
