Hotel with flowered garden offering decorated rooms, ideal for a stay with the perfume of childhood.
An original concept: the former Guéthary school has become a hotel, and Le Balea (Basque for "whale") welcomes you for a stay with a childhood flavour. In the hotel's grounds, you'll find a collection of school markers: pencil pots, room numbers are calculations... The 28 rooms, formerly classrooms, have kept their spaciousness, with a very successful contemporary decoration. In the playground, a garden has blossomed, but the wall has kept the fresco made by the children. A vintage address with a modern twist.

Lo primero que por error de la plataforma donde reservamos no nos llego mensaje de que el hotel tiene recepción hasta las 20, llegamos a las 21, llamamos y vinieron a ayudarnos enseguida, no puedo agradecer mas este gesto. Todas las personas del hotel son simpatiquisimas y super amables.
Las habitaciones son impecables en la limpieza, comodas, espaciosas y bonitas. En mi caso tenia una puerta al patio interior que es muy lindo, relajante y romántico.
La ubicación si vas a dar una vuelta por la costa vasco francesa o quieres surfear es ideal, ademas de que tienes aparcamiento gratis en el hotel. Adicional si quieres bajar al centro puedes ir caminando sin problema alguno.
Sin duda alguna un sitio al que nos encantaría volver
