It is to Denis Wargnier that we owe in 1997, the creation of 64, the famous logo surrounded by a circle, intended to animate tee-shirts. Coming from the textile world where he worked for many years at Cacharel, he decided one day to join forces with Olivier Maurouxc to create clothes, in cotton woven fabrics sometimes incorporating elastane or fleece, which highlight the Basque Country. The head office is in Guéthary where the garments made in Europe are screen-printed and sold in the many boutiques dedicated to the brand. And the development continues at the rate of four to five new shops per year, shops that have a common denominator, their size, the number of references (more than 300) and their decoration, sober and refined, all of dressed wood. In Guéthary as elsewhere, T-shirts, of course, from XS to XXXL, but also a collection of accessories with eau de toilette, umbrellas, bath sheets, espadrilles, phone covers... and a line of luggage. A spearhead for the local economy.
