A must-see and a privileged vantage point for overlooking the Atlantic Ocean at Guéthary
The whales may have disappeared from the horizon, but the "Terrace" remains a must-see and a privileged vantage point from which to gaze out over the Atlantic Ocean. In the shade of the tamarisk trees, you can watch the world-famous Parlementia wave spot being surfed all year round. You can also admire the panorama from the ocean coast to the Spanish shores, from Biarritz to the border town of Fontarrabie. The Terrace was built in 1912, in a place called "Place de la Croix". Observation table in enamelled lava.
