Close to departmental 1140, near the exit of Berry-au-Bac direction Gernicourt, you will find this national necropolis, of approximately 11 132 m 2, erected between 1919 and 1925, where 3 933 French, 31 British, 6 Russian and 1 Belgian. A small square contains 29 graves of British soldiers, of whom 17 were unknown between 27 and 29 May 1918 during the German offensive on the Chemin des Dames.
