VAUCLAIR ABBEY
This 12th century Cistercian abbey was regularly ravaged by wars, but its remains remain impressive, as does the silence of the place! Today in ruins, one can still visit the chapter house, the refectory, parts of the fortress and the church, but the excavations are not completed. Its medicinal plant garden, which marks the site of the former monastic infirmary, allows you to discover more than 200 species of plants with beneficial properties. Also to be discovered, the conservatory orchard of fruit varieties.
