This church, classified as a historical monument, is a fine example of military architecture
This church has been classified with historical monuments since 1931. Like many others in the Thiérache, she is a fine example of military architecture. Of medieval origin, it was fortified in the sixteenth century and changed in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The upper floor formed a vast area where the population could take refuge in the event of an attack.
