CHARLEMAGNE CHAPTER GARDEN
A series of gardens in Coucy-le-Château-Auffrique, featuring edible plants and vegetables.
The 450m2 garden, located at the foot of the château and surrounded by the monks' tombs, is divided into several small plots: the "blade garden", with its vegetable garden (pumpkin, mesclun, beet, etc.) and orchard; the "health garden", mainly composed of edible plants; and the "love garden", once used for entertaining. Here you'll find a fountain and a Garden of Eden. Climb to the top of the ramparts for a glimpse of its composition.
