SOUBELETA
Beautiful building with charming garden overlooking the surrounding mountains in Itxassou, ideal for a stay out of time.
In this very beautiful old building dating from 1675, like a castle rebuilt in 1881, with its original turret, the charm of the past is immediately apparent. The living room, on the ground floor, gives the "la" with antique furniture, beautiful beams, an old fireplace, against a background of immaculate white walls... a large table decorated with Basque linen. You are in the home of Marie-Françoise and Frédéric who have fitted out five bedrooms in the same spirit, upstairs. They are called Makila, Iguski, Xapata, etc... Some of them have a period marble fireplace, superb antique cupboard doors, all of them have beautiful floors, rich furniture, beautiful fabrics to liven up bedspreads and heavy drapes... and the bathrooms have all the contemporary comfort. Charming garden overlooking the surrounding mountains. Exceptional site for a timeless stay, far from the hustle and bustle of the coastline, and an open door to hiking, rafting, river fishing, etc... Experience castle life in this setting better than a postcard.
