History: The story began in 1924 with two Belgian industrialists, Armand Desaegher, specialist in melting and Octave Aubecq, specialist in enameling. Using their respective know-how, they decide to create a foundry to enamel kitchen utensils. In 1925, the company Le Creuset was born in Fresnoy-Le-Grand, in Aisne, France. The location is not randomly chosen, it is a strategic position at the crossroads of the transport routes of raw materials such as coal, iron and sand. First cocoon Le Creuset leaves the factory immediately in 1925. From 1935 to 1945, during the Second World War, the company and the foundry were closed and occupied by the German forces… We will have to wait until the end of the war, in 1945, to resume the activities. Far from losing hope, entrepreneurs are reviving the foundry and innovating by launching new enamel colors. As early as 1952, exports believed, to European countries and to the US. From 1955 to the present, society continues to grow, innovate, manufacture, modernize and buy some competitors. In 1985, the Newsweek and Expansion placed Le Creuset first among the top 30 French products of the international public. This justifies the opening of several subsidiaries around the world as early as 1995: in Hong Kong, Switzerland, South Africa, Brazil, Spain, Scandinavia, Italy, Canada and China. The brand diversifies and adds to its creations the enameled steel kettles, silicone spatula, a textile line, ceramic cooking utensils and other stainless steel. In 2013, the renovation of the Fresnoy-Le-Grand plant ends and it doubles the production capacity of enameled iron utensils, the number of which is the world number. Only enameled iron production, the company's main production, is made in France. It accounts for 60% of the company's income. Other ceramic, steel, stainless steel and silicone products are produced abroad.

Kitchen Secrets also presents the range of the Screwpull brand with its briefs and accessories for wine, in sum an indispensable address.
