Your hosts, Cécile and Salvatore, offer 3 spacious suites, all with fully-equipped kitchens - quite rare - and 2 bedrooms, with every comfort. On the relaxation side: swimming pool, sauna, garden, terrace for your breakfast of local produce. Numerous walks and visits to the villages of the authentic inland Basque country, and beaches just 30 minutes away. A Petit Futé favorite.

Open all year round. 3 suites from €110 to €230 depending on season/number of people and 2 rooms from €100 to €140, minimum 2 nights. Breakfast included. Closed parking. Pets allowed (small size, with supplement and prior request). Wifi. Air conditioning. Putting green. Sauna: private use for 2 people (1h30): €75. Massages on reservation. Outdoor yoga classes once a week in summer (dates/times on https://www.perbos1556.com/). Possibility of renting the whole house, please enquire. Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.

Why this name?
Because it reflects the history of the house, the first traces of which date back to 1556. Our wish is to respect its history and give it a new lease of life, so as to offer you a place to recharge your batteries in the midst of nature, in a verdant setting in one of France's most beautiful villages, not far from the sublime beaches of the Basque Coast and Landes.
You can also enjoy hiking, and visit the magnificent villages of Saint-Jean Pied de Port, Espelette, Ainhoa...
We look forward to welcoming you to our renovated farmhouse, where you'll find every comfort in our spacious, air-conditioned rooms.

It was an obvious choice that Sandrine Jarrosson 's paintings should adorn the walls of our home. After 2 years of renovation, our guest house was in need of the finishing touch that would give it all its sparkle. Sandrine's canvases gave it that "little extra soul" it was lacking

Each new work is an enchantment and a novelty because I paint instinctively, totally connected to the present moment.
For me, painting is a commitment, a vocation, a path and a way of expressing the soul...It enables me to create a link between heaven and earth. It is a bridge between two worlds, the invisible and our reality. It allows you to travel into the imaginary, it vibrates, nourishes the spirit, and sometimes gives you a lot of emotion. I believe that the artist has a role to play in awakening consciousness!
