Unique church architecture with massive bell tower, 3-storey galleries with wooden colonnades, side cloisters
Its architecture is very special and very different from that of other churches in the Basque country, notably in the massive shape of its bell tower and the covered walkway surrounding the building. Inside, three levels of galleries with wooden colonnades, and outside, curious side cloisters on the left: could this be the primitive cemetery? Here, villagers would meet to discuss current affairs. As for the monumental porch, it's pure 14th-century Romanesque.
