The monumental work of Jérémy Amate, a young Parisian artist, was made with the black chalk and coal. The gaze of Jaurès spread over 30 m in length and 11 m high. Impressive. In the 100 years of the disappearance of Jean Jaurès, Hirson wanted to pay tribute to the French humanist. In front of the small school that bears the name of the member, this great memorial wall captures attention. A detonating fresco that does not pass unnoticed in the local landscape.

Il peut paraitre étonnant de voir du street art dans une cité rurale comme Hirson. Cependant, la ville s'est dotée de 3 belles fresques comme celle de Jean Jaures, une autre Victor Hugo et une dernière fresque représentant Louis Pasteur.
