WEILL STOCK
Access: A26 exit Laon, direction Chambly.
History: The Weill brand was created in 1892 by the Alsatian Albert Weill. Weill created women's ready-to-wear in 1950 and continued in the 1980s with its famous slogan "Weill suits you". The result of a constant adaptation to women's changing needs, Weill remains in line with a tradition that allows it to claim more than a hundred years of fashion today. Weill thus offers, without ever denying itself, a successful synthesis of the many revolutions that have shaken fashion. In 2000, the fourth generation, Bernard and Jean-Pierre Weill, took over the reins of the company. Another important date: 2010 with the creation of the W de Weill line. Known yesterday for its coats and suits, Weill now presents collections decorated with small pieces - shirts, skirts, trousers, pants, knitwear, accessories... Complete collections designed and developed by themes, coordinated by a team that plays with materials, colours and shapes throughout the seasons. In 2011, Weill will launch its online sales website. Today, the production plant is still located in Laon and employs about 40 people. Only two minutes from the factory is the 500 m² Weill Stock factory warehouse.
