BATTERY MORLOT (STRONG MORLOT)
A truly strange and unusual place. At the beginning, we hesitate to go, to climb this pretty impressive, almost, tormented… Then once at the summit, we discover that below our feet, there are former military installations, ingenious, all right out of an espionage film. Built in 1878 by Séré de Rivières, this fort is made up of an optical telegraph, a game of mirrors recovering and controlling the rays of the sun, and allows to send messages to six other forts. Amazing. The location also offers a unique panarama on the city and surrounding areas.
