One of the most famous cheeses in France has been made here since 1925: the famous Maroilles. It was in Thiérache that Paul Fauquet created the cheese factory that still bears his name. Since then, the tradition has been perpetuated with generosity and authenticity. You will also find in the cheese shop: the vieux-lille, the Flamelon (the real maroilles pie), the maroilles cream (delicious!), etc. Lovers of strong tasting cheeses will be delighted.
