CAVE DE LUGNY

The most enterprising of the cooperative cellars in the department. In Lugny, the mother house declines all the wines stamped by the cellar. Present on the lands of Lugny, Chardonnay, Saint-Gengoux-de-Scissé, more than 1 000 hectares are devoted to the chardonnay grape and 20 hectares for aligotés: White is in honour, and collect strokes. This is the case, the Mâcon reserve of the Millennium, the mâcon of the Charms or the Part of the Angels. In smaller, Pinot noir and Gamay committees are highlighted to represent Burgundy red wines, mâcon-cruzille Le or mâcon-spikelets, at the top of the list. With regard to rosé or white, crémants are very popular. Prices are affordable, and the reception is simple and courteous.
