It is one of the most important memorials of 1914-1918. In January 1915, the Germans launched an offensive here and seized the Grotte du Dragon, one of the most important French positions. They set up an underground barracks with firing posts, a hospital and dormitories, where they remained for over two years. Now transformed into a museum with a modern scenography, the site reveals its secrets to visitors, allowing them to immerse themselves in the daily life of the soldiers.

Open on public holidays (except Dec. 25 and Jan. 1). Low season: open Tuesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. High season: open daily and on public holidays from 10am to 6pm.
