The birthplace of Jean Antoine Nicolas Caritat marquis de Condorcet (1743-1794) was built at the end of the th century by the family of Gaudry, the maternal branch of Condorcet. It remains private property until 1989, the date of its acquisition by the commune of Ribemont. Opened in 1994 to 1998, and fully restored from 1998 to 1999, it has been reopened to the public since June 2000. This museum is composed of seven rooms, the life of Condorcet and other famous native Hommes. The visitor will also find a history of the municipality.
