Des ailes et des écailles
Un ravissement pour les yeux ces magnifiques papillons mis en scène dans ce musée entièrement refait et repensé (et qui a perdu,et c'est tant mieux,son odeur de formol) On les observe de loin,de près,à la loupe ,sur le numérique , que de diversités et de beautés à travers les papillons des cinq continents! Vous aurez aussi l'occasion de détailler des hannetons, scorpions ,mygales et d'innombrables insectes .Ne ratez pas la nuit des musées car on visite avec une lampe de poche ce qui apporte une toute autre dimension.

Niché au sein de l'Espace St Jacques (l'ancienne Chambre de Commerce) en plein centre ville, ce musée présente une collection unique de plus de 10000 papillons, coléoptères, lépidoptères... légué à la ville de St Quentin par Jules Passet, un entomologiste amateur qui avait passé sa vie à rassembler une collection de 600000 spécimens qui constitue le fonds du musée.
