MUSÉE DES BEAUX-ARTS ANTOINE LECUYER
Visit the Musée Antoine-Lécuyer, to admire exhibitions of Italian, Nordic and French paintings and sculptures.
Who doesn't recognize this face wearing a beret, featured on the old 50 franc banknotes? It's that of Maurice Quentin de La Tour, a native of Saint-Quentin and Louis XV's portrait painter. His works and the art of pastels, presented in colorful salons, are the pearls of this Fine Arts museum. Italian, Nordic and French paintings and sculptures are also on display. New this year are two salons devoted exclusively to the art and history of landscape painting.
