This crypt is made up of a dozen chapels served by a central corridor.
This is the town's oldest monument, a silent witness to a rich and tumultuous history. This pre-Romanesque crypt, dating from the 9th century, is the last vestige of the abbey of the same name. It housed the tombs of the bishop Saint Médard, as well as Clotaire and Sigebert, the sons and grandsons of Clovis. The crypt comprises a dozen chapels served by a central corridor. A guided tour of this timeless place is a must!
