Lover of nature and beautiful things, Christian Melaye made his weapons in the pub and the photo before becoming a full artist. Today he exposes his works in the former dairy of Mundolsheim. Trunks of trees, branches, procedurally, ivy serve him as mediums to create his totems, his wooden lace or his trees of lights. He is a self-styled "bâtons healer", expressing his talent, poetry and imagination, from carefully selected wood in our forests. It gives a second life and a soul to trunks wrapped and tortuous. The result is original and surprising by its contemporary aspect.
