NOTRE-DAME-DE-L'ASSOMPTION CHURCH
Even though it is not part of the fortified churches of Thiérache, here is a beautiful medieval set of the twelfth century to visit. Burnt by the Spanish army in 1552, reconstruction and beautification work will continue throughout the sixteenth century. Today, several pieces are remarkable, including wall paintings on the pillars. To see also, the painting of Jouvenet, Le Meals at Simon the Pharisian (1699). Finally, the oranges buffet, built in 1886 by Pierre Schyven, deserves your attention. The restoration work of this beautiful piece was completed in September 2014.
