Every year, for more than five centuries, Beauvais has appointed a Jeanne Hachette among its young girls. For three days, the town lives again to the rhythm of the Middle Ages and celebrates its heroine: on 27 June 1472, during the siege of the town by the armies of Charles the Bold, Jeanne Hachette climbs the ramparts and snatches the standard from the enemy's hands. During this great popular festival: medieval market, brass bands and street shows.
