BIOSEPTYL
Bioseptyl is the range of toothbrushes from the Brosserie française. This is the latest company to imagine, develop, produce and package this type of product in France. And the only one to be labelled Origine France Garantie.
History. In 1845, Alphonse Dupont created in Beauvais La Brosse et Dupont, a factory for brushing, tabletting and buttons in the heart of the Thérain valley. Along this river, which has participated in the development of what quickly became a local tradition, the Beauvais site has flourished and employs up to 450 people. Today, it is an expertise of almost 170 years in the oral and hairbrush sector. But the phenomenon of globalization is gradually overshadowing the site's profitability, as is the case for many French industries. After several repurchases, the final closure threatens when the idea of a daring bet takes shape...
In 1986, the Beauvais production site opted for specialization and expertise in the toothbrush sector, and created Bioseptyl. Approved by the UFSBD, the brushes in the range combine technicality and ergonomics, a combination of long experience and a spirit of innovation. A top-of-the-range brand, Bioseptyl has its place in a competitive sector. In 2012, the site took control of its fate, and an employee set up a business resumption file. The management changes hands, and the new company name La Brosserie française is created: the production tools are gradually repatriated to France, with the will to fight to save local know-how. From now on, plastics processing is carried out in the Perche region, then stacking and packaging are carried out at the historic Beauvais site. Proximity makes it possible to ensure product traceability, quality and safety, while limiting the impact on the environment.
