In 1626, the convent set up the Ursulines nuns by the will of King Louis XIII who wanted to «establish a house to raise, educate and catéchiser girls». The convent is located in the rue de Vincent de Beauvais, which was a pre-eminent and taught at the Dominican Convent in the middle of the th century. If the elegant white and brick buildings are closed to the public, you can take a look at the rue des Jacobins or rue Vincent de Beauvais.
