ST. JOSEPH'S CHAPEL
This is not the most famous building in Beauvais far from there, yet this neo-Gothic chapel built in 1861 is certainly worth seeing! It was formerly linked to the former Normal Agricultural Institute in Beauvais, founded by the Brothers of Christian Schools in 1854, and today located outside the city under the name of Institut LaSalle Beauvais. It is also the seat of the archconfraternity of Saint Joseph, created in 1859 by Bishop Claverie, then young chaplain to propagate the worship of Saint Joseph. Beware, this chapel located in the city centre is not very visible in a modern street, it is still unknown to the Beauvaisiens if you are struggling to find it. So look for the street on the map.
