INTERNMENT AND DEPORTATION MEMORIAL
A memorial to internment and deportation located in Compiègne, retracing the history of the Second World War.
This memorial is located in three of the 25 original barracks of an internment and deportation camp. The exit of an escape tunnel can be found outside. The very successful museography is also up to the task. It immerses us in the history of this site where, during the Second World War, prisoners passed through before being sent to Nazi camps. In a very moving way, more than 48,000 names of deportees were inscribed on the walls of the Memorial in early 2020.

Je recommande toutefois d'y aller, très instructif même si la visite peut choquer
I advice highly with people who love history...
