WHITE QUEEN'S CASTLE
It contributes greatly to the charm of your walk around the Commelles ponds. This small castle was built by the Duke of Bourbon, the last of the Condé family, in 1825 on the ruins of an old mill. It corresponds well to the romantic sensibility of the 19th century with its four crenellated turrets. His name would be linked to Blanca de Castilla, even if his coming is not clearly proven. If you can't visit the interior of this former hunting lodge, its romanticism is to be photographed during a nice walk around the pond. You can also privatize the site, with a choice of: a room located in the castle for about thirty people with a fireplace and a large gothic window overlooking a small illuminated waterfall, or the room called "des étangs", which can accommodate up to 120 people in the estate next to the river.
