This protected natural area is one of the most popular places to stroll in the Chantilly forest.
This is one of the most popular walks in the Chantilly forest. A pleasant 5-kilometre shaded trail takes you around the four ponds. If you're feeling sporty, take the 12-kilometre circuit from the Orry-Coye RER station or the Maison du Parc in Orry-la-Ville. In this protected natural area, anglers will love the ponds, which were once fishponds created by the monks of Chaalis Abbey in the 13th century. The charming little castel, also known as the Château de la Reine Blanche, dates from 1825.
