CHURCH OF ST. MARTIN
Go there and contact
A detour by Gilocourt gives lovers the opportunity to discover the only wooden steeple in the valley (from the th century, in a structure covered with slate cover). Bas-relief of Saint-Martin on the facade. The nave and the baptismal fonts date back to the same period while the choir and the bas are the th century. The Baroque altar, classified as historic monument, comes from the Ursulines Convent of Crépy. Another feature that poses an enigma to enlightened experts: the eleven niches found in the walls of the church containing jars and bones.
