POTTERY MUSEUM
Museum featuring a collection of pottery by world-famous ceramists.
Attracted by the quality of the clay, potters have been coming to Bray since Gallo-Roman times, shaping its destiny. The Musée de la Céramique unveils a collection of earthenware wonders: over 300 pieces in a variety of shapes and uses. Among them, common stoneware pottery, made between the 16th and 20th centuries, travels all over France, like the "tours" of artisan potters: salt cellars, jugs or tobacco pots. This know-how engraved in clay also reveals works signed by ceramists from La Chapelle-aux-Pots.
