GADZ'ARTS MUSEUM
" Gad'Zarts ", like" Guy of the Arts ", is the nickname of students at the National arts and crafts school (Ensam). Liancourt is the birthplace of this great internationally known engineering school: in 1780, the Duke of La Rochefoucauld, a great philanthropist, decided to set up a technical school for ward pupils. Liancourt's former farm was acquired by a foundation of former Élèves students and has been home to a museum on the Arts and Crafts since 1991, an institution that has been an engine of technology and industry in France and the World since. In this museum, there are many authentic memories: uniforms, promotional sheets, models, iconographies, prototypes, antique drawings, but also keys forged by successive promotions to symbolize their entry into active life.
