A remarkable house, a perfect example of a medieval dwelling, one of the oldest civil houses in Mauléon.
It was built in the 15th century and is one of Mauléon's oldest civil houses, located on an axis linking the castle to the lower town, rue du Fort. The lintel above the doorway bears the date 1485! The wide front door was used to admit animals, while the first floor was reserved for the owners. With its half-timbered upper storey, it represents an example of medieval housing, but no one has yet identified who this fairy is...
