More than a museum, a real dive into a fascinating industrial world, with very ingenious methods to discover.

This museum plunges you into a fascinating world, at the crossroads of industry and the decorative arts. Housed in a former factory, it introduces you to the craft of button-making and the art of tablet-making. A step-by-step guide explains how a mother-of-pearl button is made. It explains how mother-of-pearl and semi-precious materials are worked. The presentation of this local craft is particularly successful. Take advantage of the guided tours and demonstrations!

Visite très instructive, la jeune guide (très attentionnée envers les personnes âgées) nous a fait découvrir les diverses étapes de la fabrication des boutons ainsi que les conditions de travail de l'époque.
