CIDRERIE MAEYAERT
It was not for so long that a page turned to the Familiale family cider, created more than half a century ago by Gérard Maeyaert in 1952. At that time, he sailed the roads of the Norman Oise, with his press truck to manufacture cider. Then he installs his company in Milly-sur-Thérain that his son Eric develops, giving him new impetus with complementary activities and new products (beer, juices, sodas, aperitifs, fruit juice…). Without the cider, which is regularly awarded to the general competition in Paris, it is not set aside. In 2012, Bruno Rouquette, whose family is head of vending machines, reprend her with the ambition to pursue in the same spirit in order to restore cider to his nobility by perpetuating traditional know-how beyond our borders. The year 2014 has several medals at the Paris General Agricultural Competition. The raw cider "Green Galant PGI Normandie", the sweet cider "Green-Galant" PGI Normandie and the raw raw cider "Domaine d'Hannaches" have been crowned with bronze. Other products are added to the range including organic cider, new crops, honey cider, apple juice, semi-sparkling, and pears and apple aperitifs. The manufacturing unit does not visit but the shop is open! And the brand "Maeyaert" remains on the label.
