This th century building was once the church of the small village, dedicated to Saint-Jacques and Saint-Christophe (also famous masses dedicated to the latter, patron of travellers and motorists). The choir and the steeple are Roman times, with a marble bas-relief which is now only a beautiful breeding. The original is located in the Louvre Museum. This sculpture, attributed to Agostino di Duccio, dates back to the th century. It was reported from Italy during the Napoleonic wars by Châtelain d'Auvillers. It is a very nice bas-relief in Carrara white marble, 80 on 78 centimetres, says the Madonna of Auvillers. The church is now charming and an association is fighting for its restoration.
