A symbol of communal power since 1108, the town hall has a Renaissance façade. On the square, the fountain was erected in 1771 to celebrate the marriage of the Dauphin, the future Louis XVI, and Marie-Antoinette of Austria. The history of Noyon can be seen on the walls of the town council chamber, painted in 1942. The Gallo-Roman oppidum, the coronation of Charlemagne, Hugues Capet... and Mayor Augustin Baudoux, who initiated this decoration and had himself portrayed in the scene of the commune's creation!
