CASTLE PARK
The castle of birth of the Earl of Angiviller (director of Louis XVI buildings) dates from the th and th centuries. It is surrounded by a charming Anglo-Japanese park, opposite the strict geometry of the French gardens. It has rare and remarkable species, including 400-year-old Ifs. The brother of the Count, Charles Flahaut of the Billarderie, who was director of the garden garden, received Benjamin Franklin's gift a Tulip from Virginia during the American War of Independence. In the park, a-metre long doll house houses "Twin" dolls in biscuit of the th century set in attitudes of everyday life: one is used to drink an officer, the other is the cattail… Before visiting the park, you are advised to visit the dolls house in the castle's communes. Dolls have the size of a two-year-old child!
