The Glachoirs site, located in the former quarrying village of Saint-Vaast-lès-Mello, is a former open-air quarry, privately owned but freely accessible thanks to a partnership with the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels des Hauts-de-France, the Communauté d'Agglomération Creil Sud Oise and the communes of Saint-Vaast-lès-Mello and Montataire. The site is a paradise for walkers and climbers alike: routes have been laid out on former quarry faces, with several levels of difficulty. A great walk for the whole family, and a challenge for sports enthusiasts!
