LA FERME DE TROSLY
Farm welcoming individuals, couples or families for a time of renewal in a family atmosphere.
Located on the edge of the forest of Compiègne, the Farm is the place where Jean Vannier founded the Arche community. It is located in the old village of Trosly-Breuil, on the edge of the forest of Compiègne. The buildings and the surrounding garden, renovated in the style of the houses of the Soissonnais region, create a harmonious environment of welcome and prayer. Rooted in the Catholic Church, the lay community has a specific vocation of prayer and welcome. Its members share their life in a family spirit, in the environment of the L'Arche homes that welcome people with disabilities. This marks its specificity and originality. It is also a home for adoration centred on the Eucharist, and a spiritual centre hosting retreats and sessions. The Farm also welcomes individuals, couples or families for times of renewal in a family atmosphere. They can participate in the prayer and community life of La Ferme. L'Arche has always practised openness and tolerance towards the many differences experienced within the human family, be they cultural, religious or social.
Services : Lauds at 8.45am from Monday to Friday, Eucharist at 6pm (except Thursday and Saturday at 11am). The services take place in the chapel of the Arche.
Reception : capacity of about 40 people. For the organized sessions, please note that they start on the evening of the day planned with dinner and end one afternoon. Please bring your own sheets.
