MUSEUM OF THE MEMORY OF THE WALLS SERGE RAMOND
The little-known history of graffiti thanks to Serge Ramond, who since the 1960s has been capturing these imprints on the walls of France.
In this peaceful village on the edge of the forest, a museum unique in Europe has been created. It gathers graffiti from all over France, but also from other countries, like Sweden. For forty years, Serge Ramond has used modeling clay to take the prints left on the walls. We find inscriptions of medieval castle prisoners, engravings of soldiers during the Great War and even traces left by prehistoric men.
